Poznan SuperComputing center visits Richmond, Virginia

Cezary Mazurek from the Poznan Supercomputing center met with Dr. Czekajlo and Prof. Krzystof Cios (Chairman of VCU Computer Sciences) at the Medical College of Virginia campus at Virginia Commonwealth University.

On the agenda was discussion of the upcoming Polish-US Healthcare IT Summit to be held in the fall of 2017 in Poland. Current Healthcare IT topics of interest for the meeting and a follow up meeting in Richmond in the spring of 2018 were discussed.

Academic and Business collaboration in Healthcare IT were also on the agenda. The next step will be the signing of an MOU and the development of a regional collaboration between Virginia and the WielkoPolska region of Poland.
