Alliance For Innovation – as the driving force behind the collaboration with NCCN – is proud to announce the adaptation of Breast Cancer Clinical Practice Guidelines in alignment with the National Oncology Strategy. These guidelines, reflecting the latest advancements in oncological care, are now accessible on both the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) and Maria Sklodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology ((Narodowy Instytut Onkologii im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie – Państwowy Instytut Badawczy) website.
As Professor Jacek Jassem, President of the Board of the Polish League Against Cancer and Chairman of the Central and East European Oncology Group, emphasizes, these guidelines play a crucial role in standardizing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They not only reduce the risk of ineffective or potentially harmful practices and medical errors but, as illustrated by Professor Jassem’s insights, significantly improve treatment outcomes and enhance the cost-effectiveness of care.
After presenting the results of the analyses, the professor adds: “Relative results of breast cancer treatment were 1.5-2.5 times better when guidelines were followed.”
We encourage you to review these guidelines as they provide valuable insights, contributing to the continuous enhancement of cancer care: https://lnkd.in/dTKB5Cic
